Riichi Mahjong Beginner Strategy Class

The USPML is now offering a Riichi Mahjong Beginner Strategy Class! This is a 4-week progressive course: classes will meet 4 times, once each week for 2 hours each time, and will cover beginner-level strategies as well as teaching further game concepts and yaku.

Riichi Mahjong Beginner Strategy Class

6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
June Cycle: June 10, June 17, June 24, July 1
Cost: $80 (4 classes = 8 hours)

Location: Simple Studios, 134 W. 29th Street, 2nd Floor (btw 6th & 7th Aves), NYC

Topics covered include:
* learn all 36 yaku * build your hand faster * yaku combinations * choose better waits * basic defense - safe tiles and octaves.

The Beginner Strategy Class is designed for students who have attended a Learn to Play workshop, know the basics, and want to learn more and build their skills.
However, absolute beginners are still able to join the class: please contact Charlyn to discuss.
