Hi all,
Just a quick post to let you know that I finally got around to making the new version of my PDF guide to Japanese mahjong. I've fixed a couple of silly little errors, replaced my scoring-stick diagram with an image of the same art (which now doesn't get mangled in PDF conversion) and I've updated/added about fifty entries across the document. Seems to have grown a few pages in length too. The new version (1.02) is available now for download from this very site. Please delete/burn all old versions! I've written some more guides for Nintendo DS mahjong games too - I now have a total of nine available from GameFAQs. (see links in sig) Bart

Hmm. I doubled up the yaku list into a spreadsheet, using the format listed here - for my own reference. Using Touhou Unreal Mahjong, I noticed a couple of items listed in that game but not in the USPML rules:
三連刻 San Renko 3 Consecutive Pons (2 closed/open) (assuming) 四連刻 Su Renko 4 Consecutive Pons (yakuman) However, I'm not sure if you guys recognize (or apply) these yaku. Last edit: 18 November 2011, 3:10 PM by KyuuAL

As I say in my guide, there are literally dozens of optional yaku/yakuman that can be added to your home/club/league rule-set.
This Japanese article lists a lot of them: http://goo.gl/yQpti Of those many rules, San Renkō and Sū Renkō are definitely two of the more common (you'll notice they're top of the list on that link) but they're still distinctly non-standard. I wouldn't use them.
