The event will be on Sunday, May 22nd from 3PM to 7PM

Open Play is geared towards players who are already familiar enough with Riichi Mahjong to sit down at a table and start playing without any instruction. Anyone who has already attended an Open Play event is welcome (and encouraged!) to return. Beginners who know the rules and/or have attended one of our Learn-to-Play workshops are also welcome to come and play and gain more experience. Please use this thread to ask any questions you may have, and to RSVP for the event. We should have enough space for everyone, but the more people RSVP the better we'll be able to ensure we have space/equipment for all.

Also, this month we will have an event photographer: Pawel Kowalczyk of Epiceuropean Photography will be there to take some publicity photos for us.
So if you show up this month, you will get to be in the pictures. You don't need to do anything special - just play mahjong and have fun as usual.
